How do you play a MTT?

Ok, lets see how many people see this and reply. How do you play in a MTT (Multi Table Tournament) with lots of players, lets just start with Online. I want to here from you all on this topic.

Online Play:

Do you play tight in the first hour or so or do you go for it all and try to get lots of chips early on in the tournament? Let's say this is in a freeroll with over 500 players, Online.

In A Buy in tournament do you play the same way or do you change it up a bit. Let's say there are over 100 players in this tournament with a buy in of $25, online.

Live Play:

Now for a buy in of $100 or more with over 100 players, in a Live tournament. would you play the same way as you would online?

Does the amount of the buy in matter to you as how you would play in a live tournament?

tight and patient, i have found it to get me into the top 10% and into the money alot in tourneys of 500 or more players

I played the $200 freeroll on Hero last night, by being tight and patiant i outlasted 4997 people to finish 3rd, even tho i was upset because it was the umpteen time i made a final table in one of these and am still chasing the win, it proves that my playing style works, also i played the 300 garenteed yesterday and finished 20th of 508 peeps
