How to GAIN Respect?????

I have a serious problem here.. I mean SERIOUS!!! How in the F#@ck does one gain respect on the felt? If you want to keep chasing when I bet the pot and call me when I RE-RASISE your initial raise.. I don't want to hear that excuse FISH or I knew you had me on the flop.. I thought I was donating to see what you had.. I mean come on really.. You think I am going to be betting with AIR here or re-raising you with udder bullshit?

I can't help but feel some of this anger is directed at me, you should want people to call you when they are behind, if they suckout and win the hand try to regain focus and work on knocking them down a peg the next time you get in a hand with them.

I like players disrespecting me, why else would my poker name be cannabisdude, I want them to think im bad so when i do have a hand they will pay it off.

Dear Sexy, I hear you totally. It was happening a lot to me on the bigger tables, as you know it was pretty much "the guys" vs the "sponsored useless woman". I found a few methods that worked.

1. reverse the poker psychology, do not re-raise - trap, let them bet into you when you know you have it. Chances are there will come a betting time (river) when you have called, called and they will check. ALL-IN and watch them fold. If they got lucky, too bad for you but ....they wont risk it again! They will have realized that you aint fucking around and they were god damn lucky. Once the table see's this they will not be chasing against you. I hope that makes sense? If not call me.

2. Don't ever let them chase! There is a pro out there that teaches a really good lesson (can't remember who though sorry - I guess for now its me LOL) If you think you are ahead, take the pot then and there, make it too expensive for them to chase with crap or to "see what you have" or any of those other things they blurt out of their dumb mouths. NL Holdem is NL Holdem for a reason. Think back to when i wanted to take pots with no chasers when we were playing - you would see me simply ....ALL IN. They are not calling $20 or $50 with crap but they will call a $1 re-raise. They also wont call their entire stack off in a tourney or sng. They are not donating their every cent!

3. Limit your hands if on cash tables so they KNOW you are playing the bomb! Also give them a good showing of what you have when they fold to you. Show a few times but be careful that they do not place you as an ultra tighty who is NEVER going to play anything other then AA otherwise you will not win.

I have found that 9/10 times that method 2 f%ks them up - use it and hope they are not so donkish they will call!
