Al Spath Blogs

Hi everyone,

Pamela has asked me several times to join OTR (especially in light of the fact I'm just doing poker coaching/shadowing these days, live and online), so I thought I'd join you and help establish the OnTiltRadio Community College of Poker (designed especially for those struggling, who need to establish a solid foundation, or fix the leaks/holes in your game). I offer the info in "Al's Coaching Corner," so see the link above on the main header to all pages at OTR.  Of course, variations and changes to what I suggest are highly encouraged/recommended, depending on the type play (LAG, TAG, etc.), by you and your opponents, but get to know what "signs" are always visible and capitalize on them to increas your profits.

My radio show was on "Rounders Radio" which was podcasted for nearly two years and we had some great guests, but alas, PokerSchoolOnline, where I was priviledged to serve as their "Dean" and master poker instructor, was sold to Poker Stars and everything over there is being redone.

I authored the "Poker Journal" which you can purchase at Amazon.com or a personalized copy from my website at www.alspath.com. If you are stateside, order one and I will throw in another complimentary if you mention OnTiltRadio in your order. If it's a gift for someone, and you would like yours and theirs signed (and a line or two), provide me your name (or screen name) and I will be glad to do it also. I cannot offer this to overseas and Canada orders, the postage is outrageous. As it is, I am making about a buck on each order after shipping and handling, but would like you to have a book to journal your play. It also contains hundreds of poker tips and articles.

I also have a number of instructive videos that I produced and they will soon be available to you here at OTR, however a slight charge (to cover expenses of creation, storage and tech support), will be nominal.

I play and teach "live" several times a week, mostly at Delaware Park Casino which opened last year when Delaware and Pa. voted in table games. I play online seldom, mostly here at Iron Duke and I sponsor 100+ freerolls (including sat's), for my players

http://tiny.cc/m1ldd monthly (cash and prizes won), with no deposits necessary. I use the rake to put up more freerolls and prizes for them, and give away money (in drawings) to new signups.  It's a great way of bringing more players aboard, keeping the old gang together, and the competition is tough!  A number of them are graduates of PSO and ha lots of training, so they have honed their game and do very well online or live.

Be talking to you soon, all the best.

Al (alspath@ironduke.com) and join my pokerinstructors group today for more invites to freerolls (w/passwords):  http://www.ontiltradio.com/group/alspathpokerinstructors

New (Al's Bounty STT) in the am, pm, and eve daily, 24 hour prior signup.

You seem to love the $20GTD Bounty Bonanza's on weekends, they stay, and the $75 GTD Bounty events went off the hook, they stay, and that might go higher if participation increases.

And then my recent awards of coupons to many folks to spur reinterest in the site and the new games is now taking a new twist in August:

http://ironduke.com/Forum/index.php?topic=377.msg2075

see second post, 20 free coupons to those without much funds today, no restrictions.
