This page will be used to display any recent or pending updates to the OnTilt Radio Website. We will notify all members whenever any significant updates occur. Site-wide notice will be given whenever any updates are made to this page. Newcomers and veterans are encouraged to read through this page to be completely up to date. To report bugs or share wishlist items, visit the feedback page HERE.

Your feedback is always welcome so please make use of our forum to do do so or email an OTR Staff member. We will do our best to respond to everyone in a timely fashion. We cannot grant every request that comes our way but we will do what we can to help.

Latest Update - August 30, 2011 - Milestone Release v1.5

This is labeled a "Milestone Release" due to the depth of its scope and expansion throughout the OTR family of domains, including the contents within them. It is HIGHLY Recommended that you read it for the best experience while visitng OnTilt Radio. -Your OTR Team

Tabs Updated Part Deux - The Tabs have been streamlined to better house the the vastly expanding OnTilt Radio content. The ultimate goal of the Tabs is to give you direct access to our deep content with minimal roadblocks or forks in the road. This latest update is not the final tab architecture. They remain on the white board for the next major release. You will notice that some Tabs currently do not have a destination, this is not a mistake. Any tab that has no following page is merely a place holder for the current projects. To get a better idea of who went where and how to find them, visit the v1.0 release of the Site Map HERE. It is recommended that if you are a frequent visitor to OTR that you spend a few moments looking over the new layout.

Front Page Changes - The OnTilt Radio Front Porch has been swept off and rearranged. The coolest new feature is the slider above our news feed. It will become the easiest way for all our members and first time visitors to get a quick taste of what's happening at OTR. It will be constantly updated and we will do our best to not have it become mundane. The slider also provides a dual linking function. Please note that clicking on the picture for each slide and clicking on the link sometimes provided below will many times end in different destinations. Depending on the type of promotion and partnership both may take you to an OTR internal page or one may take you to an OTR internal page and the other to the partner page(s). All our tune in links, social media tie-ins and radio information has been moved under the top right profile menu. The song request has joined it just below. We will further update this section as described in the upcoming projects at the end of this version's release notes. The tip jar has returned and any donation made to help keep OTR on the air is greatly appreciated. We will also use this for any charitable efforts we partner on or administer. We will also be playing at more then one room again and the lower left of the homepage provides you with links to those destinations. The remainder of the right side is reserved for the top destinations to keep you in the know at OTR.

• Network News Feed Updates - The network that hosts the OTR site is constantly updating its social media platform. Please take a moment to look above where you can update your status, you can now create Blogs, Forum Discussions, Events and Post Photos, directly from the News Feed! Very cool! They have also added a "Like" Feature attached to each page or comment. Don't forget you can automatically update your OnTilt Radio, Facebook and Twitter status with one click of the mouse right inside the OTR News Feed! The network has also added a Google+ button to each page for the beta users to share with. They have some more great network updates and additions we will show you coming soon.
• Known Slider Bugs - The slider is not of a third party and is integrated from our hosting. It was recently included in their latest release. The current bug(s) known is the slider does not go directly to slide one after the last slide and instead runs rapidly backwards through the slides. The other bug is related to that and scrolling at the beginning or end of the slides in either direction. Both bugs they are aware of and working on for their next release or sooner. We will let you know when they are resolved. The slider also intermittently begins to rapidly scroll. Refreshing the homepage alleviates this short term. They are addressing the issue.
  

New Additions - The following is the list of new pages added to OTR in this release. You can easily find any of them on the first new addition, the OTR Site Map. Here are the remaining new pages you can find now: The Comprehensive OnTilt Radio Broadcast Schedule,  Women's Poker Hour, Scott Matusow Show, Betropolitan Sports Show, The Handicapper's Hideaway, Charitable/OTR Donation Page, Pam's Poker Mindset Journal, Quizzes, OTR Non-Casino Games Page and lastly the Member Feedback & Wishlist Page. Pheeewww, that's a lot!

OnTilt Radio Mall - The initial architecture for the OnTilt Radio Mall is complete and it is near ready for the beta release in the next couple weeks. It is the first section to be firmly planted inside OnTilt Radio Chick! This mall will contain "stores' like your mall at home and we have already landed no less than TEN industry leading partners to house their wears in our mall. It will contain everything from clothing and branded gear, accessories and novelties, OTR items, OTR Music, Toys & Games and so much more. More of this will become relevant in the next few releases. We are extremely excited to show it to you and have you walk its floors.

OnTilt Radio Mobile Phone App - We are proud to announce that the OnTilt Radio Mobile Phone App is in the beta phase, get your exclusive copy and join the beta testers! Complete details HERE!

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) - We are committed providing you only the most top quality of entertainment and poker coverage. To do that we must constantly treat our SEO work as a living entity and remain atop the front pages of all your favorite search engines. We are beginning a top to bottom edit of all our pages at all our domains to update our meta tags and further enhance our SEO. Meta refers to an embedded HTML hook that search engines use to complete query requests. Our hosting network is also enhancing the this useful tool within their architecture for our use.

Next Scheduled Updates - Beyond what has been mentioned in this release, there are other projects of varying stages we are currently working on and described below. They are the current model leading up to the v2.0 Milestone. 

• Foundation Releases v1.6 - v1.9 - Many of our new pages you will notice have some new addresses as we begin to utilize our other domains to further enhance our SEO, design thresholds and and global reach. You will see new domains in use behind the tabs and pages of www.ontiltradio.com. They include our .info(Blogstation), .org (Charity) and a few more you will soon learn about. Many of these pages are newborns and don't do anything just yet or are scheduled for a re-tool. Fear not, we will make it very easy to find an use. The Tune In Links, Social Media Links, Radio Now Playing and Song Request Form are due to move to one concise bar atop all OnTilt Radio pages. This bar will remain static and easily accessible. The framework for this Links Bar can be seen to the very uppermost right hand corner of your pages where you see 'Search OTR. This will clear up more space on the front parch for goodies! Some upcoming pages we are working on include a comprehensive charity section which highlights past charity events and future ones. Also coming are Corporate and Advertising pages that will help our industry partners and their partners alike learn how to benefit from our active and diverse community with a global reach.  Still in the works from the previous release are the Staff Pages, Podcast Oven and Live Show Pages have been pushed back and scheduled for the next releases. We have new shows coming as well so we wanted to debut as many at one time as possible. lastly some new partner pages will begin to surface in September like Woman Poker Player Magazine, Luvin Poker, Majestik Poker Tour, PMS Poker Wear, High Heels Poker Tour, Poker Shark Magazine,  High Roller Clothing and many more. Many of those partners will also be in the Mall!

Previous Update - July 20, 2011 - Foundation Release v1.2

Tabs Updated - The Tabs have been set to no longer open in a new window or browser tab. Now that the chatroom is a static part of each ontiltradio.com page, there is no need to open them in a new environment. Clicking any tab will keep you within the OTR.com domain and logged into the chatroom. Some tabs will need to  remain unchanged. If you still wish to open them in a new window you may right click on any and do so.

Unaffected Tabs - The"Tune In Live" & "OTR Video Chat" will still open in a new window or browser tab. They are not part of the OTR.com domain and would log you out of OTR and the chatroom if they did not. Please let us know if we missed any.

Chatroom Part Deux - Aside from from the updates listed below of the new chatroom location. The "Chat" Tab has been added above. clicking this will open the chatroom on its own page. (not in a new window or tab). If you are still unsure of how to chat with other members, you can click "Where is the Chatroom?"

Game Schedule Page - The Game Schedule Page has been updated to reflect the changes in game start times. Each day has its own unique games and formats and we encourage all members to read it in its entirety each week or when changes have been announced.

New Poll Provider - There is a new poll provider that is a much more stable platform then its predecessor. It allows us greater poll and survey functionality and a deeper look into the statistics behind each. It also has an excellent historical function that will afford us a better look in to the math behind our members. The poll result page will also begin an update to reflect this provider switch.

OnTilt Radio Community Council - The initial phase of the Community Council has been unveiled. You can view it by clicking HERE. It is also located under the "Members" Tab. The Council is still just an infant in respect to its final vision of creating a unique online community experience that is unrivaled across the web. Much more will come of it as it progresses and grows. We thank everyone in advance for their participation.

Staff & Company Pages Announced - We are now beginning work on the creation pages for each of the OnTilt Radio Staff members and Talent. Pages will have a bio of each member, all the ways to contact them and a comment section to speak directly with them in a standard social media format.They may also use these pages to communicate with specific members or groups of members or disseminate any pertinent information form their office. We will also be adding more pages to the domain to reflect the various business interests and capabilities of OTR. These pages will be a portal for current and potential partners to have a detailed look at all OTR has to offer as a complete multimedia organization. These pages specifically and many of the website updates are designed to improve our SEO functionality. More people in the OTR community = more we can do for the OTR community.

Next Scheduled Updates - Upon completion of all the releases above, the next sections of ontiltradio.com to be updated are as follows. The OTR Store is going to get a little heftier in its design and product line.The OTR News Deptartment is getting a version 2.0 paint job. The OTR Podcast and download section will begin an overhaul and greater archived content livability. Each individual Live Show Page will begin the second step of their lifespans with an update to the overall design and increased interactive functions for our members.

Previous Update - July 12, 2011 - Foundation Release v1.1

Home Page Changes - The Ning network our website is a part of was designed to be a social media destination just like Facebook and Twitter. It has thousands of websites and networks and many celebrities and notable individuals use it to communicate with their fans.

Therefore, we have decided to make better use of some of those social networking capabilities. You will notice the OTR home page looks sort of like Facebook, only much darker and not full of requests to water imaginary crops or raise barns. There is a reason the Amish don't generally use the internet.

Features of the New Layout.

• Status Update Bar -  Similar to Facebook or Twitter. Located in the top middle section of the home page. Your updates will populate to the news feed and you also have the option to copy your posts to your Facebook and/or Twitter accounts. We would love for you to use this feature as much as possible to show all your friends that you are a proud OTR Member.
  
• Chatroom -  The Chatroom has moved but not very far. You will notice when visiting an OTR site that the bottom of your browser to the lower right, should contain the words "OnTilt Radio LLC" If it does, that is the chatroom. Simply click that section of the bar and the chatroom will rise from it. You can minimize it or keep it up at your leisure. This also allows you to navigate any page on the OTR domain in one window and not lose the chat page. If you do not see this feature please ensure you have the latest updates to your browsers, software and operating systems before contacting us for tech support. For any die-hard fans of the old way, you can locate the chat box on a a webpage as before by clicking the chat sub tab under the Tune In Live Tab
• Sidebars -  The sidebars are how you will find a more detailed version of the informative and well traveled areas of the site. They contain information such as recent blogs, upcoming events, current polls, recent pictures and videos, birthdays, groups and much more. They may change from time to time. Note that the left side bar is only on the home page, the right side bar is visible on any page.
• Member Contributions -  Anytime you make any profile changes, upload any files, create forums or blog posts, they will be updated on the news feed. You will also now have the ability to comment on any of those updates or status updates from any OTR member. The comments will stay in the news feed with the post.

Tabs & Sub Tabs - Most tabs open in a new window when clicked and some do not. Due to the new format of the chat box, all tabs are being made to open in the same page they are clicked. We will update you when this has been completed. We suggest that you check all of these Tabs and their sub-categories as most questions can be answered within.

New Pages - Some new sections have been added to the OTR domain. This is the most recent list

• Site Update Page - You're reading it now. Hi. Its permanent home is under the Home tab.
  
• OTR Shows Page - The show schedule has been enhanced and new shows and hosts have been added. With that comes the Show Schedule which can be located HERE or its Tab above.Each show and Host also has a page for their show and they can be accessed on the main show page.
• OTR Game Schedule Page - The blog format was a temporary way to keep you all informed in one spot while we worked on these changes and the staff to complete them. You will now find each weeks games detailed on this page and it can be visited by clicking HERE or its Tab above. The blog can now return to more of an editorial function for the OTR Staff & Contributors.
