Sept 16 - Sept 20

Well hello world... finally feeling a bit better.. got stuck with that nasty flu for 4 days  so I haven't been on at all.. Friday was my last day on.. and it was an amazing night... We had Jimmie Lee pop in for a surprise visit then we interviewed Young Mac.. OTR has re-opened it's doors to Smoken Home Grown Music.. a show Colo and I started back in August 2008.. We featured several garage bands and self made musicians and played their tunes on OTR.. so we decided to bring it back to you...so if you know of any musician wanting to get their music heard.. please hit us up.... we'll gladly put them on air...

So after our kewl show Friday is when I got sick... was in bed all flipping weekend .. stayed away from my computer as I was so dizzy I couldn't even tolerate looking at a screen or even look at it..This time of year has gotten everyone in a tizzy with tons of sickness.. our very own Danny Ocean was down all last week with this crazy crap...

Sooooooooooo.. I woke this morning praying that I feel better.. tried a cup of coffee as I hadn't had any since Friday Morning.. and I  get evil if I don't have any coffee.. so you can imagine how I was all weekend long without it  LOL... but the coffee isnt sitting well... boooooooo.... guess I'll stick to my clear liquids .. I think I lost 10lbs this weekend alone.. not being able to eat... :( so I am taking it very easy...

read emails .. checked my facebook. and looked in on my OTR peeps... and I decided to try a sng on the only place I have any funds left.. So I logged onto Power Poker and saw something that was very disturbing news.. 

Another Site Bites the Dust.. PowerPoker on the Cake Network no longer accepting U.S. players Due to recent movements by the U.S. government concerning online poker. Following the April 15 “Black Friday” shut-down of major online poker sites, PowerPoker Management have decided to pull out of the U.S. market fully and indefinitely.

Pretty sad news eh? I thought so too.. so I have been searching the web on the entire network for news.. I have heard rumors that Cake Network will be closing down to US market in Oct 2011.. So if you all have any funds in there I'd suggest you get them out.... as I am also hearing it is taking weeks to pull funds out... so Good Luck getting them.. I only have 40 bucks there so I am not worried.. it is just really play money for me to keep my poker skills in the loop  LOL... what poker skills .... well here is what happened to my first game in weeks...

I sit for a simple 10 man sng.. $2.20 I believe it was.. so I figured the play would be really shitty since it was such a low buyin.. well you guess it... play was HORRID... top 4 paid and I was sitting in the money after I nailed one guy.. made me happy .. I thought alteast I got my money back and then some change  lol... so this idiot raised me and I re-raised him.. I had pkt 6's and he had to nerve to call my raise with 10 7 os.. I mean really... he even initially raised with that crap... well I flopped a set of 6's and thought I was golden .. according to Al Spath.. you are.. but he was wrong..... I got RIVERED.... again and again and again  RIVER RIVER RIVER beats.. so I have been singing the famous song by Sonny & Cher.. And the beat goes on.. lada lada lada

I took 2 weeks off from poker and things just have to change.. well they DON'T...so I'll try another one just for fun to see how I do.. and if I can't win the dam thing which I know I can.. I just give up on Online Poker PERIOD!!! I will just concentrate on OTR and our guests..and keep on fighting like mad to get OTR Affiliate money of $258.92 paid to us... I have only been fighting for 3 dam months to get  what is due to us...and still NO Money.. How can sites do this to you?  So I sent an email to support  knowing the owner would see my email.. then I get a skype message from the owner  to CHILL... WTF  they mean chill.. I want my dam money... I brought over players to this site.. promoted it.. and I get this crap... NOT KEWL at all...so maybe it is time to have one of my good buddies do some investigating...I am going to give them till the end of the week to get their act together and if I still haven't gotten my money.. then my blog will go public... and that is something this site doesn't wanna see.. believe me.... the only thing I can think of is why we aren't getting our money is cause that site must be BROKE and they are using affiliate money to run the site.. sooooooooo sad.. and a sorry ass excuse.. so I will keep you all updated on that situation as well...

So I am off to try another sng.. later on today.. guess I shouldn't written about my affiliate money.. because that just blew my good vibes I was feeling today...maybe time to shower?

 Sept 2nd - Sept 16

Hi... I am very sorry I havn't kept on my daily journal.. but I twisted my knee a week and a half ago and havn't been able to sit at my computer that much..and it just so happens to be on the same side I broke my toe on July 1st.. went to my Dr last Friday to get my knee checked and had to see my PA...and all she could do was wrap my knee.. told me to stay off of it.. and it it doesn't get any better in a week to come back for xrays to see if I tore any ligaments or my ACL..then I had to go to my Dr to get xrays on my broken toe to see if it has healed.. and got shitty news that NOPE  hasn't even begun to heal.. so he gave me 3 choices.. don't do anything and keep treating me with meds and keep my toe buddy taped to the other and keep that dam air cast on... try to have my ins approve a Bone Stimulator which costs well over 7 grand  or have surgery.. I asked what all the surgery entails and he said he would have to cut  into the tip of my toe and directly put in a screw to connect the bones so they will heal...he wants to see me in a Month and I am to call next week to see if my ins approved the Bone Stimulator.. I am hoping they do.. so we can try that and see if it helps.. if not.. then I guess I will have to have surgery.. man I never in my wildest dreams thought that a broken toe could cause such pain and agony..  my whole summer was ruined because of it.. and now if I have to have surgery.. I will be out of it for a few more months..you're probably wondering how I hurt my knee?  Well I was getting up to let my dogs out and I stubbed my broken toe on my desk and I like to die from the pain and didn't even realize I twisted my knee until the next morning.. got out of bed and dam near fell on my ass I was in so much pain I couldn't walk..yup yup just so happenes to be on the  same side as my broken toe.. I tell you I am just a mess :( ... so I haven't really played much poker  but some cash tables at Luvin Poker..yuppers you heard me right  I stepped back into the ring of fire.. something that I have always been so afraid to do.. was play cash tables..so I thought to heck with tournaments and sngs.. I will give a go at cash tables.. now mind you I don't play large stakes as I am still in baby steps trying to get that scared feeling out and trying to think of it as if I were playing in a simple turney.. So I accidentally sat at a .05/.10 micro limit table that said Cap.. didn't know what that meant so I gave it a go... as it was the only table open at the time... well come to find out the CAP meant that if a player raises and another re-raises  it will be capped at a buck.. so I thought  hmmmmm.. this is pretty sweet.. and if I get in a hand  I will only lose a buck not my entire bankroll... so I sat with $5.00 and during my session I did very well.. I got up to $18.75 euros in no time.. thinking dam  this was fun and I better leave while I am ahead and try this another day...so the next morning when I woke .. I got my coffee, read my emails  did my work and took my pain meds.. and sat at the same table.. up up up I went again and did soooo good.. I kinda got addicted to this table...took my money and ran... then I had to go lay down as my knee felt as if it were ready to explode...laid in bed the entire weekend in pain and agony.. I didn't budge a bit.. but I did cry alot.. watching the Anniversary of 9-11 and went thru a box of tissues...and I am still  experiencing alot of sadness from last weekend.. so I thought it wasn't a good time to sit and play poker with my emotions so up in the air and a bit whacky....so I didn't play anything this entire week.. not feeling into it at all..  but I did manage to get alot of work done this week and new partnerships formed which I am very excited about.. then I got some very disturbing news last night and went to bed just sick to my stomach.. I wont go into any details on that..just needed you all to know that I woke this morning in a very down mood... and hoping things will get better.. so I thought  well hell I'll try a sng with my last $1.08 and try to rebuild on a site that I use to play at on a regular basis.well to no avail it didn't go very well.. and I lost.. so I guess it is time to delete this site as I can no longer deposit here.. and am very frustrated with the owner because they refuse to pay our affiliates for August.. which that alone has gotten me sooo upset this last week..I haven't been able to think straight over whole this ordeal and don't know who to turn to...I wont mention any names nor the site..

So on a brighter note.. today is my dad and my sisters birthdays.. my dad is 88 and my sister is 64.. and believe me neither one looks their age.. which excites me thinking hell they look so good at that age I must have good genes and I will look exceptionally well at that age too  hehe....so I am off to bake my dad a cake.. and call him to wish him a Happy and Healthy birthday..

So there ya have it all in a nut shell.. I am a mess...depressed and still not dressed  LOL

Days 13, 14, 15 & 16

Well Well, it's been 4 days since I have written in my journal..am I keeping you all in suspense??  <evil grin> I know I know.. Donna Shoot me...I need to do this daily instead of compiling 4 days of information.. but  dogonit.. been soooooooo freaking busy scheduling shows, talking to people, broadcasting, and signing contracts this week I barely have time to eat... I soooooooo need a clone.. but good news is.. I HAVE BEEN WINNING... Yes you heard me right  I am up 50 bucks this week...yeahya  baby... has been one helluva great week.. with work and what little time I have been able to play...took some really bad rivers along my ride.. but I was able to overcome them and come back and win a few that I got sucked out on...and guess what  Kings have been holding for me..

Yuppers  that was just today.. bout 10 mins ago... and that put me in the chip lead... then guess what happened to me :(  so sad sad sad sad...

I had pkt 2's  guy to my left raised 450 I call and flop was 772.. I thought oh yah baby I got him now.. flopping a boat...so I check raised his bet, he pushed all in with pkt 9's  and guess what the river was... dude hit a 2 outter on me.. dam 9 hit the river counterfeiting my boat..pretty much crippled me.. I tried very hard to make a comeback.. but it didn't happen this game... oh well  that's the way the poker chip crumbles right?  Next game I will WIN!!!! I have my mindset on it.. :)

So I am outta here for a bit.. have a very important conference call with the ladies at HHPT and PMS poker wear.. I have teamed up with them and will be bringing Ladies turneys here to Colorado... I am soooooooooo flipping excited I can't see straight... then tonight we have Johnny Hughes on air with us.. This guy is amazing and is a writer for Bluff Magazine and Bluff EU.. also is a historian for Vegas back in the day.. I am so stoked to hear the Johnny Moss stories and Poker Alice.. heck he even is trying to get her inducted into the Women In Poker Hall Of Fame... so tonight's show will be one you wont want to miss.One lucky OTR listener will win his autographed book Texas Poker Wisdom.

I also want to give a shout out to the 2011 inductees to this years Women In Poker Hall Of Fame.. Kristy Gazes, Margie Heintz and Phyllis Caro. Tonight is your night to shine ladies and you deserve every bit of it.. Gratzi to all of you again.. Well Done!!!!

Days 4 & 5, August 22nd & 23rd, 2011

Well Well I was a bit busy yesterday doing some much needed things around the house.. but I did switch sites and play on Power Poker.. which is on the Cake Network.. many of us call it the Flake Network...

So after I finished up some things around my house.. I played a $5.00 double up and won...felt good actually.. then I got busy and did more needed work around my house chasing cats and a mama cat that was ready to have kittens..she's one weird cat to say the least.. wont let you go near her at all.. she was trying to have kittens in my closet  Oh Hell NO.. so I made her a nice basket and locked her in my bathroom. She like to drive me crazy all day scratching at the door to get out..

My day went very well, actually even cleaned up my office  while I took a break from housecleaning.. :) Then later in the evening I got a call from my Mom saying my Aunt was put in the hospital Saturday Night.. She was just diagnosed with stomach cancer and had her first chemo Friday.. so we are hoping  she is in the hospital from that .. but what worries me is they had called her son, my cousin to come back to Colorado and he is in Florida.. which doesn't sound too promising.. So I will be taking my Mom to Denver this week to check in on her Brother and his wife in the Hospital.. So I would like a favor from our members, to please pray for her, and that it was her chemo that caused her to go to the hospital and not the cancer :(  I would much appreciate it...

So I went to bed around 8pm so exhausted from the day, and passed out.. I didn't sleep very well as I went to bed worried and stressed...

Good Morning World..

Did my usual, check skype messages, email, FB and my twitter to see what the news was for the day... Nothing too exciting to report as of yet.except for the mama cat had 4 babies.. but only 2 had survived :(... but on a GOOD note, I did read where Marie, Gunners wife had a great day playing Live poker.. she took down the Ladies Game at Hampton Falls NH Poker...Nicely Done Marie...POKER CHICKS ROCK!!!!!

I decided to try another  sng, which is actually where I have made most of my money online.. So I loaded up Poker Poker and got in a game.. I was doing excellent and felt pretty good about my play...2 players already busted and we had 4 more to go out before we all hit the money...I was sitting in 3rd place feeling confident with my stack I would either place in the money, but was really aiming for 1st.  So this guy, not so shortstacked at the time pushed on my big blind..Feeling good about my hand as  this player had been playing garbage and I had marked him as a fish with notes.. that said FKN Donkey pushes with ATC sooted..  LOL I learned that from HotAusChick.... hehe  but low and behold this trash player had K 6..I was ahead preflop and on the flop, then a 6 hit for him and BOOM I was out and he doubled up compliments of me..so give me your thoughts.. would you have called his allin knowing the hands he had been playing?  or would you have waited? I would really like your input here....

So I thought all week that trying a different network maybe I will have some kind of luck... Well I was WRONG...So I am thinking of taking an entire week off from playing any poker at all..I will just play the OTR games to show my support at Luvin Poker, after all it doesn't look too kewl when I don't play my league games being I am HBIC  LOL.... that is if my temptations from my early morning play addiction when Colo isn't in here to distract me... LOL  poor colo, always getting the blame for me loosing...

Shoot Fire, I sure with I could have Donna Blevins sitting on my shoulder each and every time I play... but that is impossible.. So I am going to review the pod cast of my live on air coaching session with her to see if I am missing out on some valuable information.. then just maybe I will try 1 more game until tonight's league game..

Had a great night last night..Played at Luvin Poker and had 2 amazing guests on with us.. Dave Hulmes from Poker Shark Magazine.. and Alarmy OTR Member of the week.. While we were playing at LP .. happend to run into 2 friends I havn't seen in 4 years.. Jepulator and him mom.. Momulator.. Was fantastic running into them.. and now they are members of OTR.. so please welcome them all...

So I sat at a dbl up this morning.. feeling in the poker groove.. and I took down the first one...

So I felt like I was on a roll.. and signed up for another one...I started out on fire.. was chipleader.. then I woke up with Pkt A's in my big blind.. I get raised .. so I re-raised.. dude pushes all in with Q 10 os.. and you know the story from there... SICK FKN BEAT... AGAIN!!!!!! am getting so sick and tired of the best hand going down.. never ceases to amaze me when the All In Draws always hit..why in the hell would you want to jeopardize your tournament life on an all in draw? I see several people always pushing all in.. weather it be A rag any2 Face or ATC (any 2 cards).. and you know what? these idiots always hit..sooooooooo I will rest my clicking finger for the day until tonight's OTR games and try to invent a zapper so when the next idiot sucks out with the worst possible hand.. I can click my mouse and send High Voltage electricity to their mouse and Zap their happy ass outta their chair and teach them a lesson!!!

I am still in belief that Iron Duke has me marked ..what do you think? Do you think sites can mark you to make you lose constantly? Let me know... So I just might put this site to rest for a while...Sleep Well Duke you Dumbass.. LOL

Day 2, August 19, 2011

Well Well.. I woke at 3am this morning.. feeling fine.. did my usual .. checked skype messages, email done, and FB postings finished.. so I sat at Iron Duke for one of my daily dbl up sngs..I started out on fire.. first hand I played was.. KK.. and guess what? They Held... amazing..

I felt really good at this point.. cause you all know how Kings Hate me..so the next hand I played was K 10 os.. I raised and SB called... flop was K ,7 9 rainbow.. small blind bet pot, I re raised and he pushed all in.. and I had a HORRIBLE river suckout.. SICK SHIT.... SO dam frustrating... which left me very shortstacked 340 in chips..

So I tried and tried to fight my way back as they kept pushing on my blind... finally woke up with pkt 10's and took yet another River Suckout..

So to say the least.. I LOST.. I am believing that Merge or Iron Duke has me tagged .. I go in with the best hand and yet still get sucked out by the worst hand.. either runner runner or a 1 to 3 outter on the river.. soooooo my friends I am very pissed off right now.. don't think I will play another one at this point..to tell you the truth I am really getting tired of Online Poker at most.. I am a good player.. but these suckouts have gotten to the point of no return.. so you will probably only see me in some.. not many OTR games... funds are running very low and I can't deposit...what is running through my mind right now is "Luck comes and goes.. but STUPID is 4 ever!!!"

I am off to watch some youtube videos and have a long day ahead of me.. I'll see ya tonight at LP with "The Bickersons"

Day 1, August 18, 2011

After last nights Live Mindset coaching with Donna Blevins, I felt really good..but went to bed a bit worried about one of our dedicated members.But I did tell myself and Colo that today was going to be an amazing day..

I woke this morning feeling as if I was on top of the world..I guess it really works to tell yourself before you go to sleep that tomorrow will be a great day..

So.. I did my usual routine made coffee and came into the studio to start my day.. Read my skype chats from last night, email finished, logged into FB caught up with news there.. and came into OTR to see how things were doing..I chatted with a few good friends in OTR chat and found out why our dedicated member had left last night during a game.. He was the one I was worried about.. Gunner had told me he had bats in his house.. pretty creepy... but glad that was all that happened to him and Marie as I was pretty worried about him..

I just reg for my 1st game of the morning.. was doing very well in the game telling myself I can do it.. then I got a bit distracted when more people started showing up in the OTR chat talking about their lives.. some good .. some very sad.. one of our members had lost both of his parents in a freak car accident and this kid has been going thru hell..so my mind was occupied on him at the time and not my game..but that's ok.. I felt he needed my attention rather than ignoring him and playing a silly game.. which I lost.. I was shortstacked and pushed on my small blind with pkt 5's and ran into A's..so out to the rail I went...was all good... I didn't get angry for not placing..but learned a very good lesson.. to only play poker when I don't have any distractions..even the music I was tuned into was very distracting too.. so next time I play.. I will ignore chat, and tune into something that makes me feel at ease...
