wife starts at 7am with "you need a haircut before we leave today you look like a hobo" half asleep i say "ok hun, let me get everythin in the camper and my truck then you can cut my hair ". Friday was record breaking heat here, high during the day was 103, when we got to the track it was 102 and the pavement in the pit area was 137 when we got to the track at 3pm . It had to be 120+ in the cars

 

Our Friday nite racing turned into a all day affair for me, We had gone over the whole car on Wednesday , reseting the valve lash ,checking every nut and bolt,and re scaling the car to make sure our weights were right , I woke up Friday morning thinking we missed…
