After spending alot of time this week (over 40 hours, over 100 man hours) and alot of money getting 2nd car ready and putting new engines and fuel systems in both cars we went to the track and the engines would not run properly.

After trying to get the main car to run properly and failing we took out the backup car, which also failed to run properly.

Both cars have engines that were built by different builders,so that means that the only two things they have in common is driver…

Been a busy week for Dj and I, after a very disappointing Friday night we started at 9am Saturday changing the engine in the main car,we finished at about 6pm and everything was running fine. Sunday we took the day off, Monday about 4 hours was spent cleaning and moving things in the trailer so we can fit 2 cars in it. It was another night of unexpected problems for the OTR DCW team, We had all the problems from the week before fixed. Dj went out for first practice and the car felt sluggish, so I adjusted the carb to give it more fuel, he went out for the second practice and the car felt better.

These are all locals casinos, away from the Strip.  Why would I play out there?  one word......BINGO.  That's what my wife likes to play so......you get the idea.

Sam's Town is owned by the Boyd Group/Coast Casinos.  It was one of the first casinos I played Poker in when my wife & I started going to Vegas regularly over 20 years ago. It had a very western theme back…

Made it back in one piece from a week in Vegas.  Time Flew by way too fast.  Played in many tournaments at many casinos at many different levels.  Played a few cash tables as well, but not nearly as much as usual.

This Friday was a rough night at the track for the OTR 22. In practice the car was great, after practice we checked the spark plug and decided the car was running rich (getting too much gas) and decided to adjust the carburetor to take some fuel out. This turned out to be a bad decision.

In the 8 lap qualifier DJ started 3rd out of 6 cars, on the start the car did not sound right and was down on power. Our prerace adjustment was too much and the car was not getting enough…
