Dear Mr. President,
Please find below my suggestion for fixing America 's economy. Instead
of giving billions of dollars to companies that will squander the money
on lavish parties and unearned bonuses, use the following plan. You can
call it the Patriotic Retirement Plan:
There are about 40 million people over 50 in the work force. - Pay them
$1 million apiece severance for early retirement with the…

This is a video of a homeless man in Santa Barbara and his pets. They work State Street every week for donations. The animals are pretty well fed and are mellow. They are a family. The man who owns them rigged up a harness for his cat so she wouldn't have to walk so much (like the dog and himself). At some juncture the rat came along, and as no one wanted to eat anyone else, the rat started riding with the cat and, often, on the cat! The dog will stand all day and let you talk to him and… Continue

Tips ??for Handling Telemarketers

Three Little Words That Work!!
(1)The three little words are: 'Hold On, Please...'
Saying this, while putting down your phone and walking off (instead of hanging-up immediately) would make each telemarketing call so much more time-consuming that boiler room sales would grind to a halt.
Then when you eventually hear the phone company's 'beep-beep-beep' tone,… Continue

The Rules of Chocolate
If you get melted chocolate all over your hands, you're eating it too slowly.
Chocolate covered raisins, cherries, orange slices and strawberries all count as fruit, so eat as many as you want.
The problem: How to get two pounds of chocolate home from the store in a hot car.
The solution: Eat it in the parking lot.
Diet tip: Eat a chocolate bar before each…

A Mayonnaise Jar & Two Beers....
When things in your life seem almost too much to handle, when 24 hours in a day are not enough, remember the mayonnaise jar and the 2 Beers.
A professor stood before his Philosophy 201 class and had some items in front of him.
When the class began, he wordlessly picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls.
He then asked the students if the jar was full.
They…

Well day one was nothing less than uneventful! We had a chance to see the range of play out there, a chance to go over the team roster, and a chance to roll out the players names for each team. We saw some beautiful hands and some blistering counterfeits! We watched Pocket pairs cracked by straits, cracked by flushed and we even had a Royal!
Indeed it was a fun and dynamic first day for the Pokerhost.com WSOP league pass event!
As for myself, wow ! After having reviewed my…

Sad news, another online poker site has closed its doors. This time it's Bugsys Club. No advance warning, no notices...Which brings me to one of my pet peeves, never leave much money in online poker rooms.....
This makes a total of over $500 I have lost money to poker sites closing doors without warning....so I will let you all know if my money is transferred to Poker Stars.
Dear Bugsy's Club Player,
Firstly, we would like to take this opportunity to thank you for… Continue

- Greg Gutfeld on Fox TV's Red Eye.
First, though, we will bury our latest war dead.

So I’m back if you didn’t know, so what you say? Sew buttons I say. Flipping the switch on the microphone for the first time in a while to do a broadcast made me all mushy. I am so glad and grateful to be welcomed back.
Nothing new here for the long time members. For those of you that don’t already know me, here’s the deal. I have a lovely wife Christina whom you have heard on air before and will again. She is my 2nd biggest fan; I’m my first of course. She is an amazing gal and the…

Im a 38 yr old single mom. I adore my son, he is my life and my rock. I write, work as a small business adviser, and have several other random projects at any given time. I'm a deeply spiritual person, but not to be confused with religious at all. I am fiercely independent due to a lack of supervision growing up. Im very laid back and i enjoy life as it rolls. I have learned the hard way to accept the realms of power which lie in my hands and to give up resistance to those things which i cant…
