It was a great night at the track, once again Dj was the fastest car in practice driving the 22 and Hans was very happy with his car.

in qualifing Dj started 7th and was able to 2nd by lap 6 of the 8 laps but did not have enough time to catch the leader,in Hans qualifier he started 2nd but was spun on lap one and then got into a wreck under caution to end his race.

In the main Hans was starting 3rd and Dj was starting 10th in the field of 17 cars in the 20 lap main. On lap one a car spun mid pack and Dj was hard on the binders to not hit him, when they got rolling he was in 15th position,over the next 16 laps he worked his way threw traffic to put himself solidly into 3rd but the leaders had 1/2 track lead and without a caution 4 laps was not enough to catch them, then a car spun in turn 4, there was the caution he needed, when they lined back up he was behind the leader, as the green flag dropped he stayed on her bumper and the passed the 2nd place car, now it was just the 2 of them to battle for 4 laps, D j kept looking to the outside but then would drop back in behind her until they were coming out of turn 4 to take the white flag and she went high to block Dj and he did a crossover and turned under her and had the lead going into turn one on the last lap, he drove it to his 3rd victory of 2012. She lead 19 laps of the 20 lap race but Dj lead the lap that maters, The Last Lap!

Hans got dumped about 1/2 way threw the race, BUT HE MADE ME PROUD, HE STAYED OUT ON THE TRACK, FINISHED THE RACE 12TH ON THE LEAD LAP. He has improved so much in just 5 races, I feel bad for his competion when he is in his 3rd season .
